Tejay Coon
Tejay Coon is a partner attorney at The Dodds Law Firm, PLC practicing in the areas of family law, estate planning, contract review/drafting, and civil litigation on both the state and federal levels. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Arizona as well as the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Tejay is a proud alumnus of Arizona State University, where he received a B.A. in English, graduating magna cum laude. Tejay then went on to receive his Juris Doctor from S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah.
While in law school, Tejay participated in several clinics including internships with the Utah Court of Appeals and Utah Legal Services. He was also a member of the Jessup Moot Court Competition team, which made it to the world championship rounds in Washington D.C. as the top-ranked U.S. team.
Beyond the law, Tejay places family as his highest priority and he and his wife are the proud parents of two young boys. Although Tejay is originally from Utah he considers Arizona home and, minus his time at law school, has lived in Surprise and Peoria since 2002.
